Although all Members have equal status there are some activities, mainly competitions, that are restricted to Men Members and some to Lady Members. These are listed as follows:-
Mens No fees for Full Playing Members.
Championship: First player to 21 shots, four bowls each player
Handicap: First player to 21 shots with Handicap (each handicap goes on the card and scoreboard before the match starts, e.g. A. Smith 5 - F. Bloggs 2. Four bowls each player.)
Derby Cup: First player to 21 shots, four bowls each player.
This particular competition is restricted to men Members who have not won a singles competition in this or any other Club.
Two Woods: 21 ends
Drawn Pairs: 21 ends, four bowls each player.
In all knock-out competitions played with a fixed number of ends, if the scores are level when these ends are completed a further end must be played. Players toss to decide who shall have the jack for the additional end.
Ladies No fees for Full Playing Members.
Championship: First player to 21 shots, four bowls each player.
Handicap: First player to 21 shots with Handicap (each handicap goes on the card and scoreboard before the match starts. e.g. A. Smith 5 - F. Bloggs 2, Four bowls each player.)
Kruse Cup: First player to 21 shots, four bowls each player.
This particular competition is restricted to lady Members who have not won a singles competitions in this or any other Club.

Drawn Pairs: 15 ends, three bowls each player.
Competition played on one day weather permitting,
Final on one of the Finals Days, 21 ends, four bowls each player.
Mixed No fees for Full Playing Members.
Open Pairs: 21 ends, four bowls each player.
Mini League Triples: 18 ends, three bowls each player
The Needle Open Competition: For all club members.
First player to 21 shots, four bowls each player.
Supreme Champion: Ladies Champion v Mens Champion.
First player to 21 shots, four bowls each player.
Pairs
Jimmy Winch Trophy: A one day round robin event, open to any pair. Two bowls each player.
The most successful pairs proceed to a knock- out stage with the final played on one of the Club Finals Days, over 21 ends.
County Competitions (Competition fees to be paid to the Membership Secretary no later than lst March).
Singles: First player to 21 shots, four bowls each player.
Pairs: 21 ends, four bowls each player.
Triples: 18 ends, three bowls each player.
Fours: 21 ends, two bowls each player.
Unbadged : Singles. First player to 21 shots, four bowls each player.
